If you watched my Trader Joe's Coleslaw Hack video this is a follow up.  This video shows how my coleslaw turned out. It was delicious by the way.

TJ's Hot and Sweet Jalapeno Coleslaw                                                                           www.getmyhomebuyer.com

This easy coleslaw is delicious after I use all the jalapenos from a jar of TJ's Hot and Sweet I use the brine to make a delicious and simple coleslaw.


2 - 3   cups tri-colored shredded cabbage - coleslaw mix

1/2 - 1   cup shredded carrots

Trader Joe's items:

-Hot and Sweet Jalapeno's

-Black Peppercorn - With Grinder

-Onion Salt

-Chile Lime Seasoning Blend

Mix coleslaw and carrots in a mixing bowl, I use a 1.5-quart mixing bowl.  Season to taste pepper, onion salt, and chili lime seasoning. Stir in hot and sweet jalapeno brine - whole jalapenos optional.  Marinate a minimum of 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
